Initial group ideas
Our group wanted to be unique therefore we decided to do a romantic comedy opening. This is because it is not usually done by AS students as they might find it a little difficult. However we are open to the challenge and are ready with amazing ideas contributed by all team members.
The first idea generated was to have a boy and girl getting ready for date, showing a boys perspective and a girls perspective. This was going to have a romantic theme only. It would consist of putting on clothes, brushing teeth, in the shower, breakfast, sprays, make up etc. accompanied by some upbeat, happy music (inspired by Legally Blonde).
We then decided that we could add a comedy effect to our opening. This could be done by using stereotypical elements such as the boy being a lazy slob and the girl being obsessive and extremely girly. This could be done by the boy having a messy room, junk food all around him and waking up late. The girl would then have a lot of pink items etc. The actors were chosen by flipping a coin which ended with Adnan and Gunes.
